Hua has over 25 years of work experience in marketing, finance and general management roles in Canada, the US and China. She started her career with Seagram (China) and was one of the key members responsible for the successful launch of Seagram’s Wine Coolers in China by introducing a brand new category to the local consumers. In the 90s, Hua moved to New York where she worked with many senior US government officials on various telecom projects and successfully launched several IPOs for major Chinese companies in the US stock market.
In 2005, Hua joined LEVEL5 Strategy Group, specializing in providing cross-border market entry strategy for both Chinese and North American companies. Her clients include Canada Goose, 3M, University of Toronto, Canada Post, Second Cup, etc. She became the Managing Partner in 2011. In 2014, Hua received the Mandarin Profile Awards for her achievements in the Professional Service category. In her spare time, Hua also lectures at University of Toronto and serves as the Board Director for Microskills.

Sherry is an innovative, technology driven, and results-oriented marketing professional with more than 20 years’ experience both in Canada and China and a proven professional track record of digital strategies, data analysis and developing/managing digital campaigns. Her clients include University of Toronto, Pet Valu, Elizabeth Arden, Concord Adex, Wind Mobile and Huggies.
In October 2015, Sherry co-founded #WeWorkingWomen, and it has soon become one of the leading digital platforms in Canada that promotes being a successful global professional citizen based on its advanced 8Qs of Women Leadership model. Sherry’s deep knowledge and expertise in some of the most popular social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Twitter, WeChat, Weibo, Toutiao, online radio FM and online live broadcasting, is one of the key reasons that #WeWorkingWomen has been growing rapidly since its launch.
Leveraging its rapidly growing reader base and the founders’ deep professional background in research, strategy and marketing, #WeWorkingWomen has now evolved from a WeChat blog to a unique crowdcultural digital community that aims to help our clients fully achieve their business goals through our multiple platforms.
